A Neighborhood Seniors Call Home

Assisted Living Community in Michigan

We offer a home-like environment that maximizes independence. Our facilities are found on both the east and west side of lower Michigan. Fenton is our east side location, consisting of two new state of the art facilities with a third scheduled to open late summer. Our west side location is found in Otsego, just south of Grand Rapids. Both locations offer easy access to restaurants, shopping, parks, freeways, and much more. Each are capable of meeting the needs of individuals desiring near total independence to those wanting memory care assistance.

We take pride in maintaining programs that give residents a feeling of belonging with a tight-knit group of peers. At our community, everybody is treated like family.

We are committed to exceed all expectations with regards to our professional staff, the care provided, the facility, our activities, and most important the enjoyment residents have in being part of our community.

Mission

Our mission is to act as the advocate for each and every resident, allowing each individual a healthy, comfortable, and dignified quality of life while promoting socialization and human relationships.

Philosophy

For us, the key to quality care is compassion. Our philosophy is to act in the best interest of our residents. We are committed to making a difference in maximizing the enjoyment life has to offer and provide the highest level of care in a supportive environment.By doing so, we promote the health, independence, and social interaction of our residents.

Senior Care Is Our Passion

We honor each resident’s life story and focus on a person-centered approach to care. Our staff develops an individualized Residency Service Plan for each resident upon admission. In addition, our activity program incorporates each person’s talents and skills into their daily activities. Our residents enjoy a wide variety of customized activities, which include hands-on crafts, visual and audio games, movies, exercise, reading, and outside entertainment. These activities help promote the health and happiness of our community members.

Compassionate Staff

To ensure that our residents are as comfortable and happy as possible, we hire people who have positive charismas and outgoing attitudes. More importantly, we employ individuals who have a heart for serving others.

At Vicinia Gardens, we go out of our way to enrich the daily lives of our residents. We train all of our personnel to care for seniors. In addition, we give continual guidance and teaching to our staff on how to care for all residents in a variety of life stages.
